After a week without the internet I'm back and (virtually) kicking! But I without the internet I've learned to while myself with other things, which made me feel proud of myself.

I drew a whole lot again. And I think, I'm becoming a bit more OC with my drawings which is good (I guess). I haven't drawn stuff I really like in a while, and it was refreshing to just draw in anime style again (and I guess, with the influence of realistic proportions and basis ^^;) I think I really want to try different styles, but I don't think anyone has the capacity to have so many styles at the same time too XD

I touched the piano too :D I miss it. I've learned (trying to learn) a new piece, and trying to remember the old ones. I can't play moonlight sonata anymore though :( Saddens me, but my patience's run out apparently to relearn it ^^;

And I can cross off some of the animes I've watched and finished!  Kino no Tabi and 5 Centimeters per Second. The first one I've enjoyed with its laid back feel and even if its mostly of short stories and episodes, I find them all filling and not cut short ^^; The second one was so beautiful it was depressing. Really. It's a must watch if you want to reflect on all the sad things of childhood promises and the cruelty of adulthood and unrequited love.

Can anyone give me the mp3 of the theme song too? :3

When I'm bored, I look around for fashion stuff. Both j-style fashions and the trends here. Yes, this is turning a girly entry so if you're cringing, scroll down away XD I just wanted to get this off my mind.

Apparently this also shows how much of a fashion victim I am D: Hax.

I found a thread in a local teen mag's forums about japanese fashions. It had a whopping 22 pages compared to the korean thread, and I was amused. It was about exchanging their ideas about it and Do-you-knows mostly. What usually came up in the thread were:

-It's so KAWAII! (I dunno. I'm really finding this irking eversince the birth of kawaii girls. And Imago's theme song for TokyoTokyo. No offense to the band! I like them ^^;)
-Where do we buy this stuff (which was usually replied with local stores that were more of jfashion-inspired and at the edge of rip-offs ^^;)
-It's so unique and interesting! (haha.)

And of course there were these comments too:

-it's too weird.
-people STARE at you when you were stuff like that.
-comparison of their fashion vs. our shirt-jeans-flipflops uniform
-some are cute, but some are way overboard.
-my mom doesn't understand that i like this fashion!

Well, I guess all of these statements are true, depending on what you like. But I lol-ed at the shirt-jeans-flipflops thing. I guess that some people who's tired of wearing that uniform everyday *would* be enticed to like something else.

And I also tumbled upon this forum of "kinaiinisang fashion trend." It was a riot for me because they actually ranted ALL fashion statements XDD From crocs to leggings to hiphop clothes to dyed hair!

Or to just summarize this whole part of the entry, depende kung keri niya yung suot.

Haha. I guess this kinda reflects on the stuff that I wear too. I mean, even if the University I'm attending's liberal and all, eventually you'll cave in to the idea of comfort of walking shoes vs. platform shoes and sturdy pants vs. super miniskirts. There are times that I want a loli-inspired look, and there are times I just want to be in jeans and feel laid-back. A balance, I guess. And a rotation to the pants and skirts too ^^;

But it doesn't hurt to try different stuff once in a while :)

Also, recently I'm not so much in the all out j-fashion now. Loli or street or whatever. I'm only up to the level of inspired. I dunno. I think with the boom of the anime cons, so many people costrip them that it seems pointless to wear them now. I mean I still like them, but I don't feel wearing them anymore realizing I'm going to look like everyone else.

Or I guess I'm still not over that december thing and half-heartedly I'm giving up that part of me.

Hala, stop being bitter. I guess it's just time Wendy came back to her house from Neverland.

Friday was the day of Revelation in AME. And thankfully I passed. I wasn't thinking about it a lot the days when we were banned from the tambayan. And then when friday came, I suddenly felt much better being away from the tambayan then receiving the letters. But I feel very relieved now. I was shaky after getting it, iunno. But thanks to all of the members for the support!! *huggles all*

I think school supply shopping and waiting for in loooong lines just to pay them made me feel tired again.

I went to the HERO con awhile ago. There were better cons, I must say. The venue wasn't really good or wierd, cuz everyone was squished into one hall. Though outsibde it looked positively big. Sadly, psychedelic_aya didn't stay for long since it was too crowded. I got to see ate delru though, which is good. She gave me a UP AME poster to plug in school. *prays that sir velarde will aprove* If not, I could plug it in Arts Club ^^

kyoyh_matsumoto I didn't get to see progeny!!! *cries* They performed around 1-2 pm, but I went to the con round 330 (but got in at 4 because there was a stupid line for that squished con >.<) I must see them at the AME con (but stupid projects are lined up >.< Darn!)

I wanna cosplay in the UP AME. It's on nov 26 at the bahay ng alumni. PUNTA KAYO!!!

Give me a cosplay that's easy to improvise but fun to look at (or I might as well go lolita *shrugs*)

I also got tix for the first showng of HP4. (which is my birthday^^) though it's kinda far from my friends >.< At least I have patti with me....
